Do I take insurance? My experience is that there are a variety of plans with a variety of requirements making it difficult to navigate and can be time consuming. Also, most if not all plans require a diagnosis which interferes with confidentiality. For these reasons, I do not accept insurance. I am happy to provide an invoice if you need it to seek reimbursement.
How do I make an appointment? I offer free 20-minute consultation to answer any questions and to ensure that I am the right person for you. When you decide to make an appointment, I will ask for your birthdate and an email address to send you a link which you will use to create an account to access a client portal. Accessing the client portal will allow you to see my availability and schedule an appointment. I will also send you the initial paperwork via that portal to be completed prior to the first appointment.
What happens at the first appointment?
I will ask you to complete two brief questionnaires right before our appointment. We will start off with a review confidentiality and consent in addition to the initial paperwork. I will review your answers on questionnaire and intake paperwork to ask follow- up questions.
